Patchwork Cottage is closed

It has been my pleasure getting to know you all and visiting with you. When I decided to close, I was unsure about an exact closing date - not having ever been in this position before. But the new 45% savings the customers are enjoying  has the size of our inventory shrinking rapidly! That being the case, we have decided to make Friday, December 23, 2011 our last day.  We thank you again for your kind patronage and wish you all much success in all your endevours. I would have liked to respond to all your emails personally, but unfortunately, time precludes me from doing that.

All our furniture and fixtures are up for sale. That includes our fabulous check out counter - which would make a great bar/recreation table for you, a vacuum cleaner, a large coffee maker, shop rulers and many other shop supplies - and all priced to sell!!! We will call those who already have their names on the list and are waiting on prices. But we strongly urge you, to come in and purchase these pieces as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

Patchwork Cottage was founded out of love of quilting and a desire to bring creativity, imagination and fun along with high quality quilting fabrics and supplies to the greater Atlanta area. Our fabulous inventory includes a huge selection of Civil War fabric ( Marcus Brothers, Windham, Andover and others), Thimbleberries, Moda, RJR, Henry Glass and a large selection of Batiks from Hoffman, Batik Textiles, Robert Kauffman and Princess Myrah to name a few!

We also carry a vast selection of accessories to suit all your styles. So whether you like to appliqué by hand or by machine, use straw needles or betweens, mark with a pencil or a pen – we have all the notions to help you along.

Add to that – the latest selection of books, patterns and specialty rulers - and you have to come to your one stop quilt shop.

Classes & Clubs

Our great classroom hosts a variety of classes every single week – day, evening and weekends. All our classes are usually offered at $8.00 per hour and are taught by gifted and talented professionals. Below is a list of our regular offerings for 2011.

Basic Beginner Class, hand appliqué, machine appliqué, EQ 7, machine embroidery, specialty ruler classes and various techniques classes.

Clubs include our very popular $6.00 Sunday Sampler, Baltimore Album, Thimbleberries, Kid’s Club, Sassy Stitchers, Farmer’s Wife and much more. Come in and see us for more information!!!

We also hold open sewing events several times a month!
